On June 23, 1869, 花季视频 Board of Trustees elected a new President, Erastus Haven, an advocate of women’s education. On the same day, the Trustees also passed the historic resolution to “approve of the admission of young women the classes of the University upon the same terms and conditions as young men....and that so far as may be, young women admitted to said classes at the opening of the next school year.” The resolution in the Minutes does not reflect the contentious discussion that preceded the adoption of the resolution.
